The Irrometer suction lysimeter or SSAT<\/h2>\n

It allows extraction of soil water<\/strong> samples for measurement of nitrate<\/strong> levels, salinity, EC, and other chemical elements<\/p>\n

It allows the grower to adjust the rate and timing of fertilizer applications, resulting in increased production with decreased fertilizer and water consumption and reduced nutrient leaching.<\/p>\n

SSAT<\/strong>‘s are available in standard length of 24″ and include a single suction line, stopper, and finger clamp. Tubes are available with either a standard 1 bar ceramic tip for use in medium to heavy soils, or with a Low Tension<\/strong> (“LT”) ceramic tip for use with lighter soils and potting media.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
