Irriduo is the result of a collaboration beetween Challenge Agriculture and Arduino.
Irriduo board and firmware (2021) are a further development of R2-DX (2013), version “smart” (electro-valve actuator).
R2-DX was designed by Challenge Agriculture (Mike and Xavier Eftimakis) in 2013, with GSM connectivity.
Irriduo is the combinaison : Arduino Edge control carrier board + Arduino MKR GSM + Firmware including access to a dedicated cloud.
Numerous improvements and more posibilities of sensors have been introduced, with a choice beetween 3 Arduino MKR GSM, LoRa et Sygfox.
