It has got a double diameter 25/22 mm corresponding to the diameter of sensor (22 mm) mounted on its PVC pipe (25 mm)
This tool, well used, allows make a perfect hole, without disturbing the soil, to get a perfect contact soil/sensor.
This is a secret to allow the sensor “fuse” with the soil.
